The Series KF300-JA Wafer Type Vortex Flowmeter offers a wide measurement range, high precision, no moving parts, low maintenance costs, and a long service life. When fluid flows past the built-in shedder bar, alternating regular vortices are generated on either side. The vortex frequency is directly proportional to the fluid velocity, allowing flow rate calculation by detecting this frequency. Flanged vortex flowmeters are extensively used for measuring steam, air, water, and various gases/liquids in industrial pipelines. They primarily serve process control and metering applications in industries such as chemical, petroleum, power generation, and heating supply.
